Cheshire Cat is a Gothenburg-band consisting of four members. Martin Trygg on vocals, Patrik Eriksson and Martin Söderberg on the electric guitars, and Oskar Clase on the synthesizer and programming. They have released two official EP’s so far, "Souls" and "Welcome To Our Town", and are currently working on their debut album.
Drawing from of the original sounds and aesthetics of the post-punk sound and influenced by bands like The Cure, Joy Division and New Order, Cheshire Cat's offerings are an amalgamation of early 80's new wave and melancholic Mancunian post punk, sprinkled with indie pop melodies.
