Vote for Flakes!

Remember Flakes? They are an up-and-coming indie rock band currently based between London (United Kingdom) and Patras (Greece). Inspired by Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Franz Ferdinand, these guys have already released a solid debut album and are now competing against other Greek bands for the Coca-Cola Soundwave Battle of the Bands contest. The winner will be sharing a stage with Bloc Party on the 1st of July in Athens.

I really believe in those bunch of weirdos and I'd like to see them winning the contest, so I urge you to give a listen to their tunes. If you dig them please take a minute and vote for the band at www.cocacolasoundwave.gr until Thursday, May 21st.

Now if it's all Greek to you, here are the voting instructions:

1. the first field on the webpage form should be completed with : name/surname of the fan
2. second field: a valid email address
3. then click on: male / female
4. select year of birth
5. complete third field with : greek city of residence/ Athens
6. then click boxes 1 & 3 to confirm all details you submitted are valid and box number 2 if you want to take part in Coca-Cola Soundwave contest for presents and fans' prizes and submit - red box bottom right
7. finally click on the new red sentence that appears [Not the one with the Exclamation Mark at the end] and VOTE for Flakes!
