As most of you probably know by now, Noel Gallagher has left Oasis. On 28 August 2009, following a fight between the Gallaghers in a backstage area which resulted in Liam breaking Noel's guitar, the group's manager announced the cancellation of their concert at the Rock-en-Seine festival near Paris just minutes before it was about to begin, along with the cancellation of the European tour and a statement that the group "does not exist anymore." Although Liam Gallagher is planning to continue with Oasis despite Noel's absence, it will never be the same again without his big brother. So today's post is dedicated to these Mancunians who (love them or hate them) played a big part in the Britpop era. R.I.P. Oasis, you will be missed.
