The Delta Fiasco
Wednesday, January 27, 2010Liverpool’s The Delta Fiasco exude an elegantly wasted allure of expansive proportions. Their blend of clanging guitars, pulsating beats and mutant bleeps emerged from the electronic wizardry of Nick Bentley (synths/programming/guitars) combine sublimely with Nathan Walzack’s (guitars/vocals) twisted falsetto to create an intoxicating rush of head-swirling sound. Smelting avant-garde rock with new wave they have created a "happening" of dizzying originality, a euphorically dark marriage of European electronica and guitars.
Although cited as “Interpol meets The Faint by way of the DFA” The Delta Fiasco will also appeal to fans of Ladytron, XTRMNTR-era Primal Scream, IAMX, White Rose Movement, Nine Inch Nails and Julien-K. After a bunch of aggressively intense headline shows through the UK, the band released their debut album Blood Will Have Blood last October and are currently touring Europe along with Good Shoes and Death By Sunrise. If you fancy a non-stop, high energy, electronic dance show make sure not to miss them. You've been warned...
