Cheshire Cat

Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Cheshire Cat is the indie / post-punk band of Martin Trygg (vocals), Patrik Eriksson (guitar), Martin Söderberg (guitar), and Oskar Clase (synthesizer, programming). The quartet’s offerings are an amalgamation of early ’80s new wave, old school goth, and melancholic Mancunian post-punk, sprinkled with indie pop melodies drawn from the likes of The Cure, Joy Division, and New Order.

With two stunning EPs already under their belt, the young Swedes are currently in the studio transferring their desperation, nerve, and intensity into a full-length album. Fans of Interpol and Editors have every reason to be happy.
