Degrees

Hailing from a town in the darkest Swedish woods called Tranås, Degrees is the indie / shoegaze duo of Mikael Jacobson (vocals, guitars, programming) and Rickard Folke (programming, synthesizers, guitars). Influenced by bands such as M83, Sigur Rós, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, and Mogwai, they transform their headaches, lack of sleep, and black dreams into lush and euphoric soundscapes that emit a certain air of nostalgia.

At the moment these young Swedes are just trying to record songs and get them out to as many people as they can, hoping to release a full-length album in the near future. Give them a listen and who knows, maybe their dreamy and laid-back music will help you rediscover your own absentminded childhood.
