Electric Valentine

Hailing from Huntington Beach, CA, Electric Valentine is the electropop / new wave duo of Lauren Baird and Chris Qualls whose amalgamation of big hooks, ’80s glossy production, and sexy vocals is destined to cause mayhem on the dancefloors.

Although they originally formed their band in London, they soon bid farewell to old Albion and headed back home to California in order to record their debut EP Friends With Benefits. This release featured collaborations with artists that Qualls had worked with in the past, such as Breathe Carolina, Watchout! There’s Ghosts, and Jeffree Star, and its positive response from the fans paved the way for a national tour and a full-length album. Automatic is scheduled for an August release and its healthy serving of electropop will undoubtedly satisfy fans of The Sounds and Alice In Videoland.
