Fenech-Soler

Fenech-Soler18-year-old Dan Soler, Andrew Lindsay, and the brothers Ben and Ross Duffy make up the British electropop quartet Fenech-Soler. Armed with a laptop computer, those Northamptonshire boys have just released their debut album which has already been receiving considerable positive critical appraisal in the UK and the USA.

The music itself is crisp and individual, mixing blips with cowbells, bass guitars and synths in a way that will thrill fans of Van She, Klaxons, Midnight Juggernauts, Cut Copy, IAMX, and Late Of The Pier, just to name a few. Despite the flawless production, their ethos is strictly DIY; let’s just hope that this enthusiasm of youth will remain evident in their future releases.
