Lovers Electric

Lovers ElectricLovers Electric is an electropop duo from Adelaide, Australia, founded by David Turley and Eden Boucher whilst in London in 2006. Their influences include Editors, The Cure, Cyndi Lauper, New Order, B52’s, OMD, and White Lies.

At the beginning of 2007 they toured in the United States, playing residencies in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville. A writer reviewing a live show of theirs in Nashville said, “Lovers Electric deliver ’80s influenced alternative dance pop.” Within a week of this tour finishing they began recording in Sheffield UK right next door to The Human League (do you call this a coincide?) with producer Eliot Kennedy and released their shiny debut album Whatever you want last August.
