Marsheaux

MarsheauxMarsheaux is the Greek synthpop duo of vocalists, songwriters, and keyboardists Marianthi Melitsi and Sophie Sarigiannidou. Sharing a common love for ’80s electropop, analog synths, and drum machines, the two girls formed the band in 2003 and did a cover of the seminal Popcorn by Hot Butter.

Since then they have released two albums, remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Moby, and Mesh, gave a series of gigs all over Europe, and are currently working on their third full-length following in the footsteps of Yazoo, The Human League, Depeche Mode, and OMD. Fans of Ladytron, Client, or Goldfrapp should keep an eye on these girls.
