Polka Party

Polka Party is an upcoming indie / post-punk band from Medway, England. Formed in August 2007 by Tom O’Leary (guitar, vocals), Ash Tapson (bass, vocals), and Stu Lusted (drums), this trio create fast-paced and dancefloor-oriented art rock brilliance, with angular guitar riffs, pummeling bass, sardonic lyrics, and shout-along choruses being the common denominator in most of their songs.

After a bunch of self-released singles and an instantly addictive EP, one can only wonder how such a band manages to remain unsigned. So, if you happen to know of any label bosses who fancy Gang of Four, Joy Division, The Rakes, Bloc Party, Interpol, and Editors before they went synth-frenzy, give them a shout and you won’t regret it.
