(((S))) is a mysterious, not to mention ‘ungoogleable’, one-man-project from Copenhagen, Denmark. The anonymous post-punk / darkwave artist prefers listeners to criticize his music instead of his name, so there are no pictures of either himself or his studio band. As for his music, it is set somewhere in the dynamic field between The Cure, The Jesus & Mary Chain, and Tiamat.

The sinister serenades of his debut album Ghost switch on your head and set your imagination running wild with the gentle sounds and dreamy sad dancefloor fillers. Mezmerized and Fall With Me are catchy wave-jewels, while gloomy songs like Naked and Dying provide an ideal soundtrack to an evening with wine and candlelight. If you are in the mood for some sonorous basslines, dark atmospherics, sorrowful synths, and ghostly vocals, give this nameless Dane a listen and you won’t regret it.
