The Cold

The ColdThe Cold is a post-punk / gothic band from Frankfurt, Germany, comprised of Uwe Liebscher (vocals, guitar), Robby Lehmann (drums), Timo Schardt (keyboards), and Alexander Meister (bass). They began their musical career in 1997 doing covers of classical wave music of the early ’80s, but soon they started penning their own tunes and performing them live at festivals like WGT, M’ era Luna and Cry for Happiness. Their debut full-length After All was finally released in August 2004 and stayed in the DAC Top 10 (German alternative charts) for 5 weeks.

Fast forward 4 years and the band have just finished recording their sophomore album which combines old-skool wave elements with modern means of expression and will go strictly into the hearts of people who like Pornography / Disintegration-era Cure, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy, and The Chameleons.
