The Glam

The GlamThe Glam is an indie rock band from Hamburg, Germany. Citing gender benders like T. Rex and David Bowie as their main musical inspiration, this ambitious trio is the proof that glam rock, strong melodies, a profound knowledge about the music from the past 30 years, and, last but not least, the instrumentalists’ individual strength can be a forceful mixture.

Within a very short period of time, The Glam have gained the reputation of being a daredevil stage sensation which they could achieve, amongst other things, thanks to their singer’s sharp voice which brings to mind Brett Anderson. Escapism, their debut album, is filled with euphoric melodies, widescreen guitars, and lyrics influenced by the French symbolists and Oscar Wilde. Fans of Suede, Placebo, U2, Puressence, and Muse can rejoice; they have just found their new band to watch.
