Veil Veil Vanish

Veil Veil VanishVeil Veil Vanish is a San Francisco-based four-piece that brings dark post-punk energy, shoegaze atmospherics, and modern indie aesthetics into the current era of pop music. Featuring Keven Tecon (vocals, guitar), Amy Rosenoff (bass), Robert Marzio (drums), and Justin Anastasi (synth), the band was formed in 2006 and has since played venues throughout the US in support of their debut self-released EP Into a New Mausoleum.

Steeped in the darker corners of ’80s post-punk adherents, Veil Veil Vanish build brilliantly fevered songs that contain more musical anguish than The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, and The Chameleons put together. Their sound blends layered guitars, menacing basslines, and danceable drums with high-rise choruses that turn these alluring soundscapes into seductive pop gems. If their upcoming full-length album retains the quality of their debut EP, Veil Veil Vanish will hopefully rise to the top in no time. Keep an eye on them.
