Established in February 2007 by Bynar, a mashup artist and DJ, Indie Disco is a music blog dedicated to spreading the indie / post-punk subculture and exposing people's ears to good music. Apart from featuring mashups, covers, remixes, compilations, acoustic sessions, and the Indie Disco podcast, i.e., a mixtape of effervescent dance beats, driving guitars, shoegaze harmonies, infectious vocals, and new wave aesthetics, this blog also serves as a spotlight for artists and/or musicians that don't have a large amount of mainstream exposure.
Since March 2008, Bynar has also been producing and hosting a weekly radio show on Waveradio.gr. The 2 hour-long program, spotlighting everything from indie and post-punk, to industrial, drum & bass, and dubstep, airs every Thursday at 6 p.m. GMT on www.waveradio.gr and is also available for streaming at www.mixcloud.com/bynar.
